But time and technology do march ever onward. Not long after the P30 appeared, the craftsmen at FWB were again hard at work developing an even more advanced pistol. The result is the Beeman/FWB P34, an extensively redesigned pistol featuring several exciting new mechanical and aesthetic refinements.
More elegant than ever before, the P34 has received a face-lift in the form of a contoured barrel shroud that also excepts a new sliding weight system. You can now alter the forward balance of your pistol with great ease and precision! Of course, the P34 still retains the proven built-in FWB muzzle brake and ported barrel, which maximizes accuracy while totally eliminating muzzle flip. Moreover, the valve housing has been reduced in size and a new removable trigger guard has been added. The new look is thoroughbred racehorse all the way!
Mechanical refinements include a completely new dry fire system. Positioned just above the trigger and within easy reach, the unit consists of a simple cross-bolt button for convenient engagement when desired. Current P30 owners can also interchange air cylinders with the new P34, which likewise feature a built-in pressure gauge for quick reference of fill status. Cylinder charging and shots per charge follow P30 specs as well (100 for the smaller cylinder and 180 for the larger unit), although several colors are now available.
Considered the finest match trigger in the world, FWB engineers have somehow managed to refine this incredible unit even further. The multi-adjustable system allows extremely precise shot control, and can be fine-tuned to suit virtually any preference. The P34's anatomical hardwood match grip is also fully adjustable for rake and palm size. Carved from select European walnut, both right and left-hand versions are available.
