I've been using the Hyde Even flow for years and think it's the best of the column type feeders. It's the only kind of column feeder that I use.

Lyle B. from Flint, TX
This is the second pair of these feeders that we have ordered from you. The fact that the three levels of of seed stay reasonably even is important to us because we count birds for the Cornell Project Feeder Watch Citizen Science Project.

Jean W. from Storm Lake, IA
Of all the bird feeders we have tried over more than 25 years of feeding, the Hyde Even seed Silo Feeder is by far the best one we have used. It is well-made and durable, easy to refill and clean, and attracts a wide variety of birds. It clearly is the best value for its price. Should we need to replace it or add other feeding stations, we will not hesitate to buy more. Thank you for such a great product!

Richard R. from Joplin, MO
This is the only type people should use as as it feeds more birds at one time. Its also runs out at the same time. A value worth the money.

Garrett G. from San Francisco, CA
This is a great product!

Fannie D. from Weare, NH
The best bird feeder ever!!!!

Bev S. from New Holland, PA
Excellent design, easy to fill.

Michael A. from Shelby Twp. MI
I like this feeder especially because it not only has 3 compartments, it provides the ability to fill it with 3 different foods. No other 3 compartment feeder allows that.

Thadine K. from Detroit, MI
This feeder has three levels of feeding so that you don't lose feeding perches as the food gets eaten. That is why I love it, especially in the winter when I want as many as possible, of my feathered friends to feed at one time.

John M. from Harleysville, PA
I like the idea that there are 3 separate feeder stations so if one is empty there could still be food in the others. The only thing I don't like is the way it is put together, the pieces of plastic sometimes separate.

John C. from Austin, TX
I have purchased this feeder for myself three times. I find it a good design; it functions well, it's attractive, it's easy to use. I hang it under a pecan tree in central Texas. It serves cardinals, small jays and smaller birds. Larger birds - eg., large jays and doves - cannot use it. One lasts about ten years, after which the plastic becomes brittle from UV radiation and it falls apart. The first had a thicket rigid plastic roof-cap that lasted a long time. The more recent versions have a cheap soft plastic roof-cap that disintegrates after about a year, after which I make another roof-cap. Out of the box, before using, I disassemble and reassemble with glue the two halves of the feeder; the glue-up extends its useful life. My only complaint is about the quality of the roof-cap.

Vicki H. from Ca
Difficult to fill, birds did not like it. I think it gives off alot of reflection in the sunlight.
