If it's really chilly out, simply attach your boat's heater hose to the bottom of the blanket and warm air will circulate through the blanket. It doesn't get more cozy than that! I love it! It is a perfect lap blanket for recreational kayaking on relatively flat water. We use it to protect lap and leg area for clients on kayak tours on Morro Bay.
